Career
As CEO, Kevin T. Kabat is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of Fifth Third Bancorp, a diversified financial services company headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Company has $142 billion in assets, more than 19,000 employees and operates in 12 states. Its four main businesses are Commercial Banking, Branch Banking, Consumer Lending and Investment Advisors. Kabat added vice chairman to his title in September 2012.
Kabat assumed the role of chief executive officer on April 17, 2007. He was appointed president in June 2006. Kabat previously served as executive vice president of Fifth Third since December 2003, and led both retail and affiliate banking since August 2004. Prior to this role, he served as president and CEO of Fifth Third Bank (Western Michigan). He was the vice chairman and president of Old Kent Bank, which was acquired by Fifth Third Bancorp in 2001. He joined Old Kent in 1982.
Education
Kabat received his bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science from Johns Hopkins University and a master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Purdue University.

Kabat is a Board member of Unum, the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, the Financial Services Roundtable and the Cincinnati Art Museum. He is a member of the Ohio Business Roundtable, Cincinnati Business Committee and the Executive Committee of the ArtsWave Board of Trustees. He currently serves as co-chairman of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center's "Change the Outcome" Campaign and chair of the United Way of Greater Cincinnati's 100th anniversary campaign.
He is a member of the Commonwealth Club, the Commercial Club, Cincinnati Country Club and the Queen City Club.
Kabat previously served on the Board of Directors for Davenport University, Lacks Industries, Clark Retirement Community, Grand Rapids Foundation, ADAC Plastics, Right Place Inc., Spectrum Hospital, Consumer Bankers Association, Michigan Business Roundtable and United Way of Greater Cincinnati. He served as the 2009 Chairman for BRIDGES' Annual Fundraising Dinner.

Greg Carmichael has served as president of Fifth Third Bancorp, a diversified financial services company headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, since September 2012 and will assume the role of CEO effective Nov. 1, 2015. He is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the Company, which has $142 billion in assets, more than 19,000 employees and operates in 12 states. Its four main businesses are Commercial Banking, Branch Banking, Consumer Lending and Investment Advisors. Additionally, he was appointed to the Board of Directors in July 2015.
Previously, Carmichael served chief operating officer (named in July 2006), overseeing the Consumer Bank (Retail Banking, the Fifth Third Mortgage Company, Credit Card Group and Consumer Finance), Commercial Banking, Payments and Commerce Solutions and Fifth Third Investment Advisors divisions, as well as the Marketing and Customer Experience functions of the Bank. In his more than a decade of service to the Company, he has provided outstanding direction and vision to the organization and his leadership has helped drive the overall success of the Bank.
Carmichael joined Fifth Third Bank in June 2003 as executive vice president and chief information officer. Prior to joining Fifth Third, he served as vice president and chief information officer for Emerson Electric, a technology and energy solutions provider with more than 300 manufacturing locations worldwide. In addition, Carmichael served in several information technology and leadership assignments at General Electric for more than a decade.

Carmichael received his bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Dayton and master's degree from Central Michigan University.

Carmichael is a member of the finance committee for the Bancorp and sits on the Fifth Third Bancorp Board of Directors. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for Bethesda, Inc., and Cincinnati Museum Center. He is a member of the Financial Services Roundtable Advisory Board and The Commonwealth Club. Carmichael also is a sponsor for United Way and ArtsWave.
Career
Lars C. Anderson joined Fifth Third Bancorp as executive vice president and chief operating officer in August 2015. As chief operating officer, Anderson oversees the Bank’s regional network, the Wholesale Bank, Investment Advisors and enterprise-wide Marketing and Customer Experience. He also has leadership responsibility for Fifth Third Bank presidents in 15 regions, more than 1,300 banking centers and 100 Bank Mart® locations in 12 states. Anderson is a member of the Bank’s Enterprise Committee.
Anderson has 30 years of banking industry experience. Before joining Fifth Third, he was vice chairman, Business Bank, at Comerica. In that role, he led more than 20 lines of business, including Middle Market Banking and U.S. Banking. Additionally, Anderson has specialized business expertise in vertical industries. He also has led solutions teams, including those in Corporate Finance, Treasury Management Services and Leasing.
Prior to joining Comerica in 2010, Anderson served in a number of roles with increasing scope and responsibility at BB&T, including leading as group banking executive.
Education
Anderson received his bachelor’s degree from Suffolk University in Boston. He completed advanced management training at the business schools of both the University of North Carolina and the University of Chicago.

Anderson serves on the Board of Directors for Vantiv, Inc. His community activities have included serving on the executive boards at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, as well as leadership in United Way and Dallas CASA, an organization focused on court-appointed special advocates for foster children.
Career
Chad Borton is executive vice president and head of Fifth Third Bancorp's Consumer Bank, comprised of Retail Banking, Business Banking, Mortgage, Auto Lending, Bankcard, Collections and Credit Centers. He is also a member of Fifth Third's Enterprise Committee.
Borton joined Fifth Third in 2012 as senior vice president and Head of Retail Banking. In that role, he was responsible for the overall performance, objectives, products, operations and strategies for Fifth Third Bancorp's Retail division, which includes more than 1,300 Banking Centers and 2,400 ATM's located in 12 states.
Previously, Borton held several senior management positions at JP Morgan Chase, including Consumer Bank chief financial officer, head of the Retail Distribution Network where he was responsible for expanding Chase's branch and ATM network nationally and retail market manager for Chase's branch network in several Ohio markets.
Earlier in his career, Borton served as head of Retail Integration and Prioritization for Wachovia Corporation in Charlotte and was an associate principal at McKinsey & Company, where he served financial services clients. In addition, Borton worked at Goldman Sachs in New York and served as an active duty U.S. Army officer, where he was Airborne Ranger qualified.

Borton received his bachelor's degree in business economics and public policy from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business and his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Borton is a former board member for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank in Columbus and the Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation.
Career
Frank Forrest, executive vice president and chief risk officer, assumed this role in September 2013. He is responsible for all key risk functions, overseeing the company’s governance and strategy for risk management, including relationships with key regulatory agencies.
His team leads enterprise initiatives for managing risk and sustaining a strong risk culture. Responsibilities include development and implementation of a risk management framework, risk appetite, risk mitigation strategies and key measures across both the enterprise risk organization, as well as independent business control teams. Combined, these teams manage compliance, model, credit, market, strategic, liquidity, operational and reputational risk matters to support balanced, profitable growth.
Previously, Forrest held numerous positions in credit and risk management at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, including Managing Director - Quality Control for Mortgage Banking, Global Debt Products executive and Commercial Banking Risk Management executive. Prior to joining Bank of America, Forrest worked for eight years at the U.S. Department of Treasury, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency as a national bank examiner.

Forrest graduated from Florida State University with Bachelor of Science degrees in accounting and finance.

Forrest recently served on the Wake Forest University College Board of Visitors (2010-14). For more than 10 years, he served Providence Day School in Charlotte, NC on the board of advisors, board of trustees and finally chairman of the board of trustees.
Career
Greg Kosch serves as executive vice president and head of Fifth Third Bancorp's Wholesale Bank division. He is responsible for Commercial Lending and Credit, International Banking, Commercial Leasing, Corporate Treasury Management, Capital Markets, Public Finance and Institutional Sales.
Kosch joined the Bank in 1983 and previously served as manager of the Commercial Banking division for Fifth Third Bank (Northeastern Ohio), among a host of other positions. In 2002, Kosch was named executive vice president and manager of the Commercial Banking division of Fifth Third Bank (Chicago). He was named president and CEO of Fifth Third Bank (Eastern Michigan) in 2006 and was named president for the southeast region in 2007.

Kosch previously served on the boards of New Detroit, Detroit Renaissance, the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion and the Detroit Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He also was a cabinet member for United Way for Southeastern Michigan.

Career
Joe Robinson is executive vice president and director overseeing the Information Technology and Operations areas of Fifth Third Bank. He leads more than 3,000 employees in the Information Technology and Operations divisions in providing innovative solutions and services that support the key strategic pillars of the Company. He and his teams provide technology planning, program management, application development, IT infrastructure management and support all back office and call center activities in servicing Fifth Third's nearly six million customers. He joined Fifth Third Bank in 2004 as senior vice president of Enterprise Solutions, with responsibility for company-wide IT platforms. In November 2006, he was appointed to director of central operations where he was responsible for leading Fifth Third Bank's back office functions and call center services. Robinson was promoted to chief information officer in May 2008 and appointed head of IT and Operations in September 2009. Prior to joining Fifth Third Bank, Robinson was a line of business chief information officer for GE Insurance, a division of General Electric. He also previously ran operations for GE Insurance and was responsible for the call center and claims operations for the Long-Term Care business unit.

Robinson received a bachelor's degree in management information systems from State University of New York at Albany and a master's degree in business administration from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business.

Robinson is a current member of the Board of Directors for Fifth Third Bank (Eastern Michigan) and is executive board chair of BITS, the technology policy division of the Financial Services Roundtable. He holds a position on the managing board of the Clearing House Payments Company, LLC and SLK Global Services. Robinson also sits on the board of the INTERalliance of Greater Cincinnati.

Tim Spence serves as chief strategy officer, responsible for all aspects of strategic planning, including mergers and acquisitions.
He joined Fifth Third from Oliver Wyman, where he was a senior partner in the Retail and Business Banking practice, providing advice on strategy, innovation and performance improvement to executives at the world’s largest financial institutions. His background also includes consulting in the wholesale banking, wealth management and payments businesses. Spence served as the firm’s Midwest Market leader.
Prior to joining Oliver Wyman in 2006, Spence held management positions in sales and marketing, corporate development and finance at two early-stage technology firms.

Spence earned bachelor’s degrees from Colgate University in Economics and English Literature.

Spence has been active in the industry, serving as chairman of the American Banker’s Marketing and Innovation Symposium. He has conducted research and written extensively on the evolving financial services landscape.
Career
Teresa Tanner serves as executive vice president and chief administrative officer. In her role, Tanner oversees Fifth Third’s Facilities, Strategic Sourcing and Enterprise Program Management functions, as well as the entire Human Capital division, including Total Rewards, Business Partners, Diversity, Employee Relations, Executive Development, HR Operations, Learning and Recruiting. She was promoted to chief human resources officer February 2010, and her role was expanded to chief administrative officer in September 2015.
Previously, she was senior vice president and director of Enterprise Learning for the Bank, leading a division of 140 learning professionals responsible for developing and executing learning strategies that drive organizational performance.
Before joining Fifth Third Bank in 2004, Tanner was vice president of Human Resources Employment for Provident Bank. Her previous experience also includes human capital strategic change manager, divisional human resources manager, senior human resources and development consultant and various operations management positions for the McDonald's Corporation. She has a vast background in education, human resources and operations management.

Tanner attended Pensacola Christian College and received her MBA from Xavier University.

Tanner serves on the boards of directors for Vectren Corporation, an energy holding company headquartered in Indiana, and Fifth Third Bank (North Carolina). She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management and the Greater Cincinnati Human Resources Association. She is vice-chair of the Ronald McDonald House Charities and vice-chair of the ArtsWave Board of Trustees. She also is a board member of the Freestore Foodbank. She is an active member of the United Way Tocqueville Society, Women’s Leadership Council and Cincinnati Women’s Executive Forum.
Career
Tayfun Tuzun serves as chief financial officer, responsible for Finance, Treasury, Business Planning and Analysis, Corporate Tax, Investor Relations and Accounting for Fifth Third Bancorp.
He previously was treasurer, overseeing funding and liquidity, capital management, asset liability and balance sheet management, among other roles. He was promoted to the position of treasurer in 2011.
Tuzun joined Fifth Third in 2007 as a structured finance manager and later served as assistant treasurer.
He started his private-sector career at Provident Bank in Cincinnati as asset-liability manager in 1993 and worked in various senior positions in treasury and finance at the bank. In 2004, upon the sale of Provident Bank to National City, he joined FSI, Inc., a multi-platform hedge fund specializing in the financial services sector. Before joining Provident Bank, he was a faculty member at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

Tuzun holds both master's and doctorate degrees in economics from The Ohio State University and a bachelor's degree in economics from Bosphorus University in Istanbul, Turkey.
