The story, titled, "Fifth Third Bank’s Journey: One of Inclusion and Engagement," discussed how the Bank’s investment in development, engagement and inclusion has been good for employees, customers and the bottom line. Fifth Third is a two-time winner of the Gallup Great Workplace Award, which is further testament to the degree that employees feel valued, connected and supported in the workplace.

Brand Finance, an independent global brand valuation consultancy, recently ranked Fifth Third Bank #105 on its list of the Top 500 Most Valuable Banking Brands in the world. The Top 500 was based on intangible asset valuations by Brand Finance. Fifth Third Bank received a rating of AA for "very strong."
2014 Disability Matters Honoree

Fifth Third Bank was selected as a 2014 Disability Matters honoree, presented by Springboard Consulting LLC. The Bank was recognized in the “Workplace” category for its commitment to hiring and engaging people with disabilities, structuring teams so anyone and everyone can contribute successfully, and its work to create an Inclusion Council and multiple business resource groups in each affiliate for various constituents and allies, including people with disabilities. Considerations also included reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities and policies that align with the Americans with Disabilities Act. In 2013, the Bank was recognized for its work with Project SEARCH, a transition-to-work training program that provides marketable and competitive skill-building opportunities to young adults with disabilities.
