With Overdraft Protection funds are moved automatically from one of your other Fifth Third Bank accounts to help you avoid being overdrawn. This service is similar to Overdraft Coverage but it utilizes your existing Fifth Third savings account, credit card, or line of credit to cover your transactions.
This short-term form of credit allows eligible Fifth Third personal checking customers access to funds in an emergency from their next qualified direct deposit.
Manage your money more closely by monitoring your account balance and transferring funds online or right from your phone. Fifth Third Internet Banking and Mobile Banking also allow you to set up email or text alerts to help keep track of your balance.
