Audit Leadership Program

The Audit Leadership Program (ALP) is designed to develop the technical aptitude, business acumen and leadership abilities of entry-level professionals to meet Fifth Third Bank’s future leadership needs. Opportunities are available in Financial Audit or IT Audit. During the two-year program, ALPs will contribute to audit engagements in every area of the Bank. At the end of the program, participants have the opportunity to specialize in a specific area of interest and continue preparing for a future supervisory role in the Audit division.

Financial Audit IT Audit
Engagements focus on the accounting, compliance and operational functions of the Bank. Engagements evaluate the technology processes, network infrastructure, information security and applications that support the Bank.
Integrated Audits are composed of both Financial and IT Audit resources, which provide a holistic review of the business processes and supporting IT applications.
The Data Analytics team supports the Audit Division by applying a data driven approach to perform controls testing of key Bancorp processes.

The ALP internship is a 10-week summer experience that provides individuals the opportunity to gain meaningful experience as a staff auditor. Interns work on two different audit engagements, complete a research project and executive presentation, and receive valuable feedback from managers.
