Interview Tips

Nervous about the interview? It's OK — everybody is. That is why preparation helps. And since we want you to do well, we have provided tips to help you shine and make the best impression, especially if you do not have a lot of interview experience.

  • Bring additional copies of your resume, and, if it is relevant to the position for which you are interviewing, a portfolio of work samples. Do not forget a pen and notepad.
  • Research the position and bring any questions you might have to the interview.
  • Make sure you are on time, meaning 10-15 minutes early. Allow plenty of time for traffic and other possible delays.
  • Answer each question thoroughly, and keep your answers direct and focused on the interviewer's question.
