Payments & Commerce Solutions Leadership Program

The Payments and Commerce Solutions Leadership Program (PLP) is designed to provide participants with meaningful work experience in the functional areas of the Payments space, developing future leaders. Building upon a rich history of innovation, the Fifth Third Payments and Commerce Solutions division combines existing businesses such as Treasury Management, Commercial and Consumer Card and Currency Processing Solutions with resources specialized in developing innovative commerce-enabled solutions. We are a team of innovators focused on providing best in class solutions to our clients and leveraging technology to improve the overall customer experience. The Payments and Commerce Solutions Leadership Program consists of comprehensive on-the-job training supplemented by educational opportunities focused on Treasury Management, Commercial and Consumer Card and Currency Processing. The program is structured over 24 months with four rotational assignments. The PLP offers rotations that provide exposure to consumer and wholesale clients within the Payments and Commerce Solutions division.

The PLP internship is a 10-week summer experience in the Payments and Commerce Solutions division. Interns will be given an assignment similar to a PLP rotation, but scaled appropriately for the internship. Interns work on key initiatives in the Payments and Commerce solutions division with the support of an assignment leader, senior mentor and peer advisor. Interns will deliver a presentation to key stakeholders in the Payments and Commerce Solutions division at the conclusion of the internship.
