Fifth Third Information Technology is comprised of several areas including:

Commercial IT
The Commercial IT Division supports the Commercial Line of Business, the Credit and Risk teams, and Operations. Commercial IT support includes the introduction of new products and services, such as Commercial Card, Healthcare and Remote Currency Manager, to sell to our customers as well as to provide integrated solutions that enable efficiencies and improved processing for our customers. The Commercial Credit team supports the Credit and Risk business to improve loan origination through servicing and also improves our ability to meet the needs of the federal regulators during audits and stress testing.
Consumer IT
Consumer IT provides technology products and services for Retail, Small Business, Mortgage, Bankcard, Auto, and Business Banking. We maintain multi-channel support, including Financial Centers, Internet/Mobile, ATM and Contact Centers, supporting the business processes for Originations, Fulfillment, Servicing, and Collections.
Enterprise Program Management Office
Since its inception in July 2007, members of Fifth Third Bank's Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) have been focused on partnering with the Company to implement programs throughout the Bank. The EPMO serves as a major resource within Fifth Third Bank to execute enterprise-strategic programs and Line-of-Business initiatives, as well as to provide all areas of the Bank with standard methodologies and consulting assistance for best-in-class project execution.
Shared Services and Corporate Applications

The Shared Services and Corporate Applications (SSCA) group provides customer-focused, cost-effective and high-quality technology services across all divisions of the Bank. The main goal is to deliver value to the Bank by creating experienced and knowledgeable centers of excellence for strategic technologies, exploiting opportunities to improve service delivery, and encouraging collaboration and best practice sharing within the Bank.

SSCA consists of three areas – Enterprise Solutions, IT Infrastructure, and Security and Risk Services.

Enterprise Solutions
Enterprise Solutions consists of Enterprise Applications, Architecture, Data Management, and Corporate Applications. Enterprise Applications provides design, deployment, and maintenance of strategic technologies used by multiple Bank divisions. Architecture defines standard technologies to be used across the Bank, aids in the design of new applications, and evaluates the architecture of new and existing applications to ensure a common architecture framework for all applications. Data Management is responsible for maintaining the Bank's substantial data stores and providing accurate and customized data warehouses to internal Bank customers to aid in decision making. The Corporate Applications group supports all Finance, HR, Risk and IT applications.

IT Infrastructure
IT Infrastructure supports the computing infrastructure that runs the IT applications and services utilized by the Bank and its customers. The team implements and maintains all aspects of the IT infrastructure, including desktop hardware and software (e.g., PCs, peripherals, telephones), network connectivity, data center hardware (e.g., mainframes, servers, storage), and infrastructure and messaging services (e.g., email, WebSphere). IT Infrastructure is also responsible for monitoring and resolving incidents through its Command Center Operations and Help Desk support functions.

Security and Risk Services
Security and Risk Services is comprised of five teams – Business Continuity Management, Information Security, ITIL Enterprise Process Management, IT Governance, and IT Risk Management – which are dedicated to protecting Fifth Third Bank systems and information. Each team within this department has a specific area of responsibility in protecting the assets of the Bank, including:
