Consumer Leadership Program

Outside of the framework of the rotation, the CLP focuses on developing its participants by providing them with the resources and opportunities that will help to make them successful in their careers. Each participant is required to complete a core curriculum over the 24-month program that is designed to teach and expose the leadership participant to management and leadership best practices. CLPs have the opportunity to network with senior leaders throughout the Bank and are assigned a peer mentor (a CLP in their second year) and a senior mentor (a senior leader in the Consumer Bank) upon entering the program. These mentorswill help guide them through their career at the Bank. CLPs have a high level of visibility and are responsible for presenting to senior management at the end of each rotation.

The CLP internship is a 10-week summer experience in one of the Consumer Bank departments. Interns will be given an assignment similar to a CLP rotation, but scaled appropriately for the internship. Interns work closely with Consumer Bank leaders on key initiatives with the support of an assignment leader, senior mentor and peer advisor. Interns will deliver a presentation to Consumer Bank leaders at the conclusion of the internship.
